Eagle Scout Project Benefits Phoenix Children’s Project
Life Scout Eric Achor has been involved with scouting since he was 6 years old. Working toward earning his Eagle Scout rank he came up with the idea to complete a concrete walk path for a local Phoenix non-profit called Phoenix Children’s Project.
The Phoenix Children’s Project is a safe haven for youth ages 5 – 18 that serves the downtown Phoenix area.
“We have partnered with Weeks and Mitchell and Hark Drilling who are donating their time to assist in the planning of this project. The project will complete a concrete walk path so that it will no longer be a tripping hazard for volunteers and youth on Phoenix Children’s Project property. Funds will be used for tools and materials within the project and any left over funds will be donated directly to the Phoenix Children’s Project,” explains Eric.
The project will take place over June 6-7, 2021.
“Your support would mean a lot to us because it gives us the opportunity to help out a non-profit that provides an amazing service to the youth in our community. I am very grateful for your help and am looking forward to completing my project and helping a great cause,” exclaims Eric.
