Holiday adventures await the whole family this season at the Disneyland Resort and California Adventure Parks.

One of the coolest things this holiday season is the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which opened recently in the newly renamed Bayou Country. The ride is inspired by the film “The Princess and the Frog” and is a waterlog ride that takes you on an adventure with Tiana and her alligator friend Louis through the bayou.

Not only is there a new ride in place for the family to enjoy, there are also new shops and new dining spots to take in all that the bayou has to offer!

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are also underway and the events continue through January 6, 2025, bringing décor, entertainment and festive family fun across the resort. There are parades, new festive food to try and of course, the beautiful holiday fireworks display at night just before the close of the park.

New this year at Disneyland, visitors will get the special opportunity to meet Santa Claus and select Disney characters at “Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends!” at the Fantasyland Theatre. This is a must visit for all ages young and young at heart.

Disney Festival of Holidays returns to Disney California Adventure Park, featuring flavorful food and beverages and a variety of live performances. The Festival of Holidays introduces new entertainment for all guests:

  • “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” brings guests together to sing along to the wonderful songs from “Encanto” in an amazing musical presentation.
  • “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!” features heartfelt stories, songs and an appearance by Miguel from “Coco.”
  • New live entertainment brings a variety of high-energy seasonal fun each day with an wide range of genres, including mariachi, jazz, klezmer, Latin pop, fusion, reggae, polka and more.

Tickets are available and reservations are required for park visits. If you are looking to make a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth this holiday season, it is recommended that you check the Disneyland app and website, www.Disneyland.com, for the full list of entertainment offerings and the latest performance schedules.
